'Engineering Graduates Association Gold Medal Awards'

The annual Engineering Graduates Association Gold Medal Award Ceremony was held in Belfield on Tuesday 22 June 2004. Gold medals were awarded to the six students who attained first place in their respective Engineering Undergraduate Degree Examinations. Departmental awards were also presented to a further ten students. 

The gold medal winners pictured with Mr Simon Kelly, President of the Engineering Graduates Association and Professor J. Owen Lewis, Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Architecture (L-R): Mr Shane Minihane, winner of the GEA Tuchenhagen Medal for Agricultural and Food Engineering; Ms Louise Kelly, winner of the CRH Medal for Mechanical Engineering; Ms Aoife Carolan, winner of the M. C. O'Sullivan Medal for Civil Engineering; Ms Catherine Mc Cague, winner of the ESSO Chemical Engineering Medal and Ms Roisin Quinn, winner of the ESB Electrical Engineering Medal. Absent was Mr Conor Fearon, winner of the Ericsson Electronic Engineering Medal.
