University College Dublin Welcomes |
| Just over 3,900 first year students attended Welcome Days in O'Reilly Hall, UCD from 13 to 15 September 2004. MC for the event was DJ Dave Fanning. Speakers were Ms. Bernie Neville, European Business Operations Director, Avanade; Writer, Katy Hayes; and Primetime Presenter, Miriam O'Callaghan. |

| The proceedings were followed by a reception in the conservatory of O'Reilly Hall, where students had the opportunity to meet their future lecturers in an informal setting and were presented with a small UCD gift to mark the start of their university career. |
