Former UCD Ad Astra Elite scholar and three-time Olympian Ciara Mageean has had her sporting achievements honoured at this year’s (opens in a new window)UCD Alumni Awards.

A physiotherapist and international middle-distance track athlete, the County Down track star has represented Ireland in the 1500m at the Rio 2016, Tokyo 2020, and Paris 2024 Olympics.
