Alumni Story: An Interview with Kim Hayden Clinical Nurse Specialist Palliative Care

Kim qualified as a nurse at the Adelaide Hospital, Dublin in 1993. She worked for several years as a staff nurse gaining experience in a variety of medical and surgical areas and later went on to work in public health. She is currently working as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Palliative Care in St Vincent’s Private Hospital.

Alumni Story An Interview with Emma Biggar BSc General Nursing

Emma qualified as a nurse in 2019 & worked as a nurse for the NHS on a cardiothoracic oncology surgical ward in London for just over a year. Emma recently completed a MSc in Business Management in the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School and currently works in a FinTech startup, called Paytrix.

13 Ph.D. Scholarships Awarded 2022/2023 - Meet and Greet

The School hosted a Meet and Greet event on the 20th October for our most recent Ph.D. Scholarship recipients. Thirteen scholarships were awarded in total to a vast array of proposed research projects in nursing, midwifery, mental health and health systems.
