5th Year Nursing and Midwifery Summer School 2023

On 7th June 2023, the School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health systems welcomed 50 secondary school students from across Ireland to the annual 5th Year Nursing and Midwifery Summer School. The Summer School is an immersive experience for students considering choosing nursing or midwifery for their third level study. With a full and varied day in store, students enjoyed taster lectures, an introduction to the School's programmes, campus tours and practical hands-on clinical simulation labs. 

For students considering nursing or midwifery as a career, this programme is an excellent opportunity to experience what it takes to work in the profession.
