News Item: Deans Award for Excellence

We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Prof. Eilish McAuliffe on her Dean's Award for Excellence in Doctoral Supervision. We invite colleagues to attend a webinar event on 10th December 2021 at 2pm as Prof. McAuliffe will be officially presented with her award, along with fellow recipient Associate Professor Benjamin Cowan from the School of Information and Communication Studies. 

Webinar Event Details

This year’s Research Supervisor Support and Development Programme (RSSDp) is starting on Friday December 10th with a webinar given by Professor Bob Harris, Academic Vice President of Doctoral Education, Karolinska Institute, discussing Successful Supervision of Research Students Remotely at 2pm.

As part of the first webinar, Prof. Eilish McAuliffe (Nursing, Midwifery and Health Systems) and Assoc. Prof. Benjamin Cowan (Information and Communication Studies) will be officially awarded the Dean’s Award for Excellence in Doctoral Supervision 2021. We welcome colleagues to attend and support Prof. McAuliffe. UCD colleagues can register for the event via the Booking Centre. Event title "Successfully Supervising Research Students Remotely- Prof Bob Harris-Karolinska Institute - Online". 

We are delighted to see Prof. McAuliffe recognised in this way for her hard work and dedication.
