Leo Hamill and Will Prendergast, Partners at NCB Ventures, will provide an overview of the fund and take questions.

NCB Ventures are a successful venture capital company with a track record of delivering strong returns to investors. They currently have €95 million under management and they invest equity capital in fast growing private unquoted companies on a long-term basis.

NCB’s €75 million Ulster Bank Diageo Venture Fund is actively seeking new opportunities and will invest in growing companies across the island of Ireland.  Their investment range is €1 million  to €5 million in each portfolio company in a range of sectors including ICT, support services, consumer products and services, leisure and fitness, cleantech, waste services, medtech and engineering.

NCB recently invested €1 million in the UCD spin-out company HeyStaks Technologies, established in 2008 by Dr Peter Briggs, Dr Maurice Coyle and Professor Barry Smyth.

There will also be an opportunity for 15 min one-to-one informal meetings following the talk.
