NovaUCD Open Day (24 March 2009)
NovaUCD, the Innovation and Technology Transfer Centre at UCD is holding an Open Day on Tuesday March 24 as part of the 2009 Dun-Laoghaire-Rathdown Enterprise Week. This Enterprise Week features 4-days of activities (March 23 - March 26) taking place in various locations throughout the county of Dun-Laoghaire-Rathdown and has been designed to support the ambitions of aspiring entrepreneurs and the owners of small businesses.
The message from the organisers of the Enterprise Week, which includes NovaUCD, is that small businesses can 'still fly higher, even during an economic storm.'
The aim of the NovaUCD Open Day is to give budding high-tech entrepreneurs an opportunity to drop into NovaUCD, to discover the unique services, supports and facilities available and to meet members of NovaUCD's successful community of entrepreneurs.
The guest speaker at the NovaUCD Open Day will be Sean Gallagher, co-founder and CEO, Smarthomes and a 'Dragon' on RTE's 'Dragons' Den' TV programme who will deliver a lunchtime NovaUCD 'Entrepreneurs Live!' seminar.
