Philip Sharpe has been active in the IT and telecommunications industries for over 20 years. Philip was co-founder and CEO of CAPE Technologies, a pioneer and global leader in Revenue Assurance Solutions for telecom operators. He is currently chairman of DANÚ Technologies, a leading provider of specialist consulting and systems integration services to the telecoms market. DANÚ Technologies was divested from CAPE Technologies in 2007 prior to the sale of CAPE to the Sonae Group.
Philip holds non-executive positions in a number of technology and software companies, including non-executive Chairman of NovaUCD-based Socowave. He is also an executive council member of the Irish Software Association.
Philip graduated from DCU in 1987 with a BSc in Applied Physics and having spent a year working as a graduate engineer for STC Telecommunications UK he joined Ericsson UK as one of the first employees in the emerging Cellular Networks Division. Prior to establishing CAPE Technologies, Philip held several senior management positions within Ericsson Ireland between 1993 and 2000.
