Iain Mac Donald is CEO & co-founder of SkillPages. SkillPages, which to date has raised significant funding, is a skill-based social network that is transforming the way people with skills connect to the people who need them. Nearly 2 million people have joined SkillPages since the start of the year.

SkillPages was recently invited, as one of only two Irish companies, to join the elite Microsoft Bizspark One, a fast track programme for the world's highest potential start-up companies. Limited to 100 global start-ups, this programme is an extension of the BizSpark programme and seeks to accelerate the growth of high potential start-up companies.

Iain is a serial entrepreneur with a passion for high-growth ventures that seek to make things better for people. In 2003 he founded Perlico and as CEO developed it into Ireland's leading alternative provider of consumer broadband before exiting to Vodafone in 2007 in a $100m deal.

As an angel investor he has also invested in technology start-ups including Startupbootcamp and Catchfree and is also a regular speaker at various technology events including f.ounders and the Dublin Web Summit.

Iain is a graduate of University College Dublin.
