About

Change Management involves supporting people during transitions, whether these are new technologies, processes, or organisational structures.
Change Management provides a systematic approach that places equal value on the people side of change. This approach recognises that change can be difficult, and that the people impacted by the change must go through their own transition before they come to terms with the change and ultimately adopt it. Change Management methodologies give us tools to guide people through this journey.
When changes are managed well in UCD, this is beneficial to the whole organisation. People’s experiences of change become more positive, and we collectively develop a more change-ready and responsive culture.
Our collective capability for change is a key element in the ‘One UCD’ Strategic Initiative in our Strategy to 2030.
