The PERITIA Network of Research at UCD and SciDem (the University of Oslo’s Research Project on Science and Democracy) are hosting a 3 day conference ( 9-11 September) on the topical issue of the relationship between science, expertise and democracy. The conference will include keynote presentations from Heather Douglas (Michigan State University), Finnur Dellsén (University of Iceland), and Stephan Lewandowsky (University of Bristol) as well as over 25 addresses discussing different aspect of this pressing issue.
