
UCD Newman Centre Events
UCD Newman Centre for the Study of Religions is a recognised research centre affiliated with the School of Philosophy. The Centre brings together researchers from across the university and beyond who share an academic interest in religion, faith, and worship (inclusive of all traditions), with a special focus on the philosophy of religion.
UCD Newman Centre hosts at least one major academic event each year in the form of the Newman Centre Annual Lecture in the Philosophy of Religion, along with many other conferences, lectures, speaker series and events connected with the Centre’s research projects of Newman Studies, Religion and Science, Religion and Society, Medieval Philosophy, and Jewish Thought and Contemporary Philosophy.
