Call for Expression of Interest

Postgraduate Work-in-Progress Seminars, Autumn 2024

WiP is a forum for you to present any philosophical work you have in progress or might have doubts on. It might be an essay for a module, an article, or a chapter from your thesis. WiPs provide a supportive and collaborative environment for you to get early-stage feedback on your literal work-in-progress.

WiPs run every week on Tuesdays 4–6pm, following UCD’s academic calendar. We convene at the Agnes Cuming seminar room of the School of Philosophy (Room D520). Zoom links will be available upon request.

All MA, MLitt and PhD philosophy students are warmly invited to attend and present. Priority may be given to UCD and TCD philosophy students, but students from other institutions or with a different background are equally welcome if their work is of philosophical interest.

If you consider presenting at some point this term, please email Philipp, ideally giving two dates that would suit you. No topic or abstract is needed at this stage, just the commitment to present something at the given date.
