International Mens Day
International Men’s Day is an annual event held around the world on the 19th November. The day is marked to demonstrate and celebrate the positive value men bring to the world, their families and communities. It also serves to highlight and raise awareness of men’s wellbeing and health issues.
Academics and researchers at the UCD School of Public Health, Physiotherapy and Sports Science are actively involved in researching and promoting health and wellbeing.
Professor Patricia Fitzpatrick recently presented at two Healthy UCD webinars on topics very important to men’s health – HPV and cancer avoidance for men. Click the links to listen to what she had to say.
