MPH40
UCD has a long tradition of education in public health. The Faculty of Medicine established a Diploma in Public Health in the early 1900s which evolved into the Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in 1983. In its 40th year, the MPH is an international, multi-disciplinary programme and partner in the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree programme, Europubhealth (EPH+).
Since its inception, there have been some 850 graduates from the UCD MPH programmes, many of whom have led public health nationally and internationally and contributed significantly to global public health initiatives.
To mark this milestone, we are delighted to invite all UCD MPH alumni to a celebration on 2nd and 3rd September, 2023 in UCD. This event will follow the (opens in a new window)2023 ASPHER Deans' and Directors' Retreat which is taking place in Ireland for the first time and is being hosted at UCD on 31st August and 1st September.
