UCD CSTAR (the Centre for Support and Training in Analysis and Research) offers a consultancy and training service to individuals, institutions and companies carrying out health research in Ireland to strengthen the capacity of researchers and the quality of research being produced. It specialises in the biostatistical and methodological areas of health research, both quantitative and qualitative. CSTAR was supported from 2009-2012 by the Health Research Board and has been recognised as an independent UCD Academic Centre (Research and CPD) since 2012.
