The expert-led material includes interactive sessions and opportunities to apply theoretical concepts to real-world scenarios. It is expected that you will dedicate two hours self-study practice each week in addition to the three hours of live expert lessons. You will learn about all the major Irish tax heads, prepare key tax computations, identify tax planning opportunities, and ensure timely compliance with relevant legislation. Some bookkeeping knowledge is beneficial but not essential. This course does not cover bookkeeping or payroll concepts.

What is the online learning experience like?

Online courses can be accessed from any computer or laptop with an internet connection.

Live lectures are delivered using Zoom. During these lectures, your teachers will use technology interactively to ensure an engaging learning experience. When appropriate, students will be encouraged to activate their microphones so that they can ask questions and communicate with other students.

How is this course assessed?

This course is assessed through multiple-choice quizzes presented throughout the course (worth 20% of your assessment) and a written assignment of 3,000 words (worth 80% of your assessment). Both assessments are due two weeks after the end of the course, and students are allowed two attempts at the multiple-choice quizzes.
