FAQS:

How do On Demand courses work?

Each module is delivered in the form of one “lesson”. The lesson is broken up into short videos followed by activities designed to put the new information and concepts into practice through exercises, quizzes, forum participation and other activities.

You don’t need to complete the full lesson in one go, as you can simply come back and pick up where you left off. You also don’t need to complete a lesson within any defined timeframe: although taking approximately one lesson per week is a good reference. Additionally, you can attend optional live tutorial sessions with one of our lecturers.

Do I have to attend the live online sessions?

Attendance of the live sessions isn’t compulsory, and you can always watch a recording. The live online sessions are beneficial as you’ll be able to ask questions and practice your newly acquired skills - the sessions will go through exercises, include discussions, and in general provide an opportunity for you to interact with the content presented in the lessons in real-time with your fellow students and the lecturer.

Are there assignments?

Yes, you’ll complete the same assignments as you would in the live part-time course. Assessment deadlines are typically at the end of the course, but you can submit an assessment as soon as you feel ready. Even if you submit all assignments early, you’ll still have access to the whole course until the end.
