In particular, our work focuses on identifying mechanisms of resilience in the ageing brain. The overarching goal of this research is to inform interventions to prevent cognitive decline in healthy ageing and mitigate neurocognitive deficits neuropathological conditions such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s Disease, and stroke.

We are grateful to receive support and funding from several local and international bodies including the European Commission Horizon 2020, UCD Ad Astra Academy, Alzheimer’s Research UK, the John Fell Fund Oxford University Press, and Corpus Christi College at the University of Oxford.
