Postgraduate awards
1. The Eamon Fechín O’Doherty award for first place in the Higher Diploma in Psychology
- To be awarded to the final year HDip student with the highest GPA
2. The Masters in Psychological Science Prize for Professional Sensitivity
- To be awarded to the MPsychSc student who demonstrates the highest level of professional sensitivity as evidenced by having the highest GPA across four modules: PSY40400 Managing change; PSY40410 Diversity and inclusive practice; PSY 40450 Counselling and clinical skills; PSY40460 Group dynamics and processes. [Note the criteria for this award will be changing for 2019/20 – updates to follow]
3. Prize for best performance on the MSc in Rehabilitation and Disability Studies
- To be awarded to the student with the highest GPA on the MSc R&D
4. The Mindfulness Award for best performance on the MSc in Mindfulness-Based Interventions
- To be awarded to the student with the highest GPA on the MSc MBI
Clin.Psych/PhD in Clinical Psychology medals (awarded separately):
The Clinical Psychology Medal for best clinical psychology PhD thesis
- Recipient determined at the Clinical Psychology internal studies board meeting
The Thérèse Brady Medal (for thesis conducted on clinically important topic with significant clinical sensitivity)
