Undergraduate awards
- The Ciarán Benson medal for best essay by a third year student
- Students will be nominated for this award by module coordinators with respect to specific essays. The awards committee will read and rank the nominated essays and make a final determination.
- Essay-writing award for best essay by a second year student
- Students will be nominated for this award by module coordinators with respect to specific essays. The awards committee will read and rank the nominated essays and make a final determination.
- The Michael Nolan Award for best final year project
- To be awarded to the student with the highest grade for their final year project. In the event of a tie, the members of the Awards committee will rely on written feedback from the project markers to determine the winner.
- Research design and analysis award
- To be awarded to the third year student with the highest GPA from all lab and statistics modules across the full 3 year programme.
- To be awarded to the mature student with the highest GPA across the full programme.
- The Deirdre Keegan Award for best mature student
