Dr Ronan Glynn appointed to Adjunct Professor role in UCD College of Business

UCD College of Business is pleased to announce the appointment of former Deputy Chief Medical Officer of Ireland Dr Ronan Glynn as Adjunct Full Professor. The position is on a pro bono basis.
Dr Glynn is a recognised leader in the healthcare sector in Ireland and has been a core part of the national health response to the COVID-19 pandemic, including as Acting Chief Medical Officer and Chair of the National Public Health Emergency Team (NPHET) for six months of the pandemic and serving as Deputy Chief Medical Officer at the Department of Health since 2018. In addition, as an academic thought leader, Dr Glynn has authored over fifty peer-reviewed publications and has been an invited speaker at multiple national and international conferences.
This appointment follows the announcement of Dr Glynn’s new position as Head of Health for EY Ireland which commenced in September 2022.
Bringing a wealth of experience to the role, Dr Glynn will contribute to the College’s educational activities particularly concerning themes in leadership, crisis management and strategic decision making and to the further strengthening of the College’s networks in specific areas of business, healthcare and life sciences.
