Enterprise Ireland India Ireland Business Seminar highlights partnerships and opportunities

Enterprise Ireland India Ireland Business Seminar took place in Dublin earlier this week welcoming to Ireland delegates from many different parts of India, as well as the Consul General in Mumbai Gerry Kelly, Ambassador of India to Ireland Akhilesh Mishra and Ambassador of Ireland to India Brendan Ward. The event included discussions with Enterprise Ireland client companies on partnerships and collaboration opportunities in both Ireland and India.
UCD Smurfit School Professor Karan Sonpar presented on the history that joins both countries, offering key considerations on business culture and the overall future potential for bi-lateral trade links.
Tánaiste and Minister for Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment Leo Varadkar spoke about the growing business and societal links between India and Ireland, and Enterprise Ireland CEO Leo Clancy spoke about the key role that Enterprise Ireland will play in helping Irish companies to succeed in India.
The event also featured mAdme Technologies Limited CEO Triona Mullane, Michael Connolly of Connolly's RED MILLS, Tata Consultancy Services Ireland Manager Deepak Chaudhari and Tarun Mathur from Edelweiss General Insurance Company Limited who spoke on success and challenges in both markets.
