Launch of Business and Society Internship Scholarship
UCD Lochlann Quinn School of Business is excited to launch the Business and Society Internship Scholarship. This scholarship allows a student the opportunity to complete their year-long internship (year 3 of their degree) with a voluntary organisation that may not have the means to offer a paid internship.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to business and society and gain valuable real-world experience helping a voluntary organisation achieve their goals.
The scholarship is sponsored by UCD Quinn School of Business which means that payment for the internship will be made via a bursary from the School directly to the student. The School will also cover the cost of the student’s registration fee for 2018/19.
Throughout their time here students are exposed to a range a teaching concepts underpinned by the pillars of: transformative learning, innovation and enterprise, and business in society. A scholarship like this is another route with which students can actively contribute to a change in society with the skills and experiences learned within the classroom.
