Professor Ciarán Ó hÓgartaigh, Dean UCD Business School, recently signed a new agreement with IE Business School in Madrid which will provide for an exchange of students between the two schools. IE is a leading Spanish and international business school.
Under the agreement two MBA students from UCD Smurfit School will spend a semester studying at IE as part of their degree programme, with two students from IE coming to Blackrock as part of their MBA course. The agreement also provides for two undergraduate students from UCD Quinn School to study for a semester in Madrid, with two students coming to Belfield in exchange.
Welcoming the new agreement, Dean Ó hÓgartaigh commented ‘ This is a wonderful opportunity for our students to study at one of the world’s leading universities while experiencing a different culture. It also marks another step in or growing network of alliances with the world’s leading universities, consistent with UCD School of Business’ position as Ireland’s global business School.’
