Quinn students have presented their end of term e-business solutions to the School.
Students were tasked with developing a viable business solution using E-Business and website technology. Over forty groups of students developed their business propositions and pitched their ideas to a panel of judges including representatives from KPMG and SAP.
Wix.com was the most popular host for the businesses, with a number of student developing sites based on their own coding skills. A number of innovative and interesting ventures were presented with ideas including: student discount sites, shopping, entertainment portals, and social media applications.
In the end, Tricia Correia, Vittoria Dotta, and Melanie Desloire won the competition with “ADD Account”, an innovative approach to online shopping which focused on security and convenience for end users.
The competition was just one of many interesting group projects Quinn students undertake. Case Studies, Video Projects, Group Presentations and Blogging are just some of the key activities that students undertake to develop skills relevant to the modern business environment.
