To fulfil the academic component students will complete two modules: the core module and one elective module. Students will be required to prepare in advance for the academic component. The sample course syllabi are available to view below for reference:
Core module:
- BMGT30280 Ireland's International Business Environment (past syllabus - Ireland's International Business Environment outline)
Elective modules (pick one):
- FIN30510 Global Sustainable Finance (past syllabus - Global Sustainable Finance outline)
- HRM30130 Responsible Management, Sustainability and Society (past syllabus - Responsible Management, Sustainability and Society outline)

Assessment & Credit Transfer
Assessment
Students will be required to prepare in advance for the academic component. Readings and syllabi will be shared with the students approx. 3 weeks prior to arrival. Students will be assessed on an ongoing basis for core and elective modules. Team and group work is also essential in the assessment criteria as is a strategic understanding and analysis of the company where you are placed. The specific details of the assessment structure for each module will be shared during the first class.
Credit Transfer
UCD recommends that 3 US credits each are awarded for the core module and for the chosen elective module. Sending Institution ultimately decide on the credits to be awarded.
