Over 1,000 years old, Dublin is a city rich in history, famed for its legacy of scholarship and renowned for its easy-going charm and cultural heritage. It is without a doubt one of the most energised capital cities in Europe. With its pubs and restaurants, art galleries and museums, music venues and theatres, it's no wonder Lonely Planet named it the 7th best city in the world to visit in 2022.
Dublin is also the gateway to the rest of Ireland with easy access to the windswept Cliffs of Moher to the world-famous Aran Islands and the magical city of Galway on the west coast. For sheer unadulterated, natural, beauty we also have the Giant's Causeway or the entire county of Kerry. There are a multitude of locations to visit on your weekends.
