UCD Clubs
UCD Clubs are at the centre of student sport at the University. Whether you want to try out a new sport or continue training in a sport you are already familiar with, UCD sports clubs invite you to get involved and have fun. Getting involved in a sports club is an ideal way to keep fit, learn a new skill, meet people with similar interests, as well as providing a welcome break from academic life. With nearly 60 sports clubs to choose from, ranging from team sports, adventure sports, and water sports to martial arts, there is something for every sports enthusiast from the beginner to those at a competitive level.
UCD Sport and Fitness
Spacious, comfortable and ultra-modern, the all-new gym at UCD Sport and Fitness, with a 50-metre Olympic swimming pool and climbing wall, is perfect for complete beginners or regular gym users. With free personal trainer assessments and over 140 free fitness and body shaping classes per week, everything is made simple and easy for you to get started. This facility is a wonderful addition to the campus, providing a great place to relax, or keep fit.
Student Centre
Our award-winning Student Centre is one of the most diverse student facilities of any university in Ireland. Its state-of-the-art services include: 3D cinema, drama theatre, TV studio and radio pod, debating chamber and Student Clubhouse. It is located at the heart of the UCD campus and is at the core of the UCD student experience.
