“I have participated 3 times in this Summer Internship Programme. Despite it being just 6 weeks and a 4 day week, the contribution of the 3 participants has far exceeded my expectations. They have been so enthusiastic and willing to go the extra piece to get their projects completed and shared. It is certainly my intention to continue our involvement while this programme remains in existence.
It is important to set achievable goals given the short duration of this internship. For example, some of the aspects we worked on are as follows, we updated part of our website, we expanded our use of Sales Force and re-gigged an aspect of our operational reporting. These made meaningful contributions to our organisation while giving the participants an interesting and busy internship. The calibre of the student was consistently excellent.
