The initial step in the recruitment process is to contact the Internship Manager to discuss available roles, timelines and skills required.
Completed job descriptions should be submitted by mid January.
Employers will have the opportunity to engage with students in the Quinn School before the internship application process commences.
Applications are forwarded to employers for shortlisting, interviewing and selecting. Interviews should take place during the UCD mid-term break (mid-march).
A final list of selected interns should be sent to the Internship Manager by late March. Students receiving more than one offer have the choice of which offer to accept. A final list of acceptances will be sent to the relevant company in April.
Companies who successfully recruit students will be provided with a Guide to Hosting an Intern and will be required to sign the UCD Host Internship Agreement Form before the internship commences.
The majority of internships commence in September however, in some instances students may be available for an earlier start date.
