What is the application fee?
For most courses you must pay a €60 application fee.
This covers multiple applications for the same academic session.
A receipt of payment will be sent to you by email if you choose to pay online.
Asylum Seekers, Refugees and those with subsidiary protection or Leave to remain are not required to pay the application fee. Please contact the applications team if you are in one of these categories.
Can I get a refund if I change my mind?
Under the Distance Selling Regulations (Statutory Instrument 484/2013), distance contracts may be cancelled and a refund sought upon written request within 14 days from the date of receipt of payment. However, in accordance with section 13(2) of the Regulations, if the contract is performed within those 14 days, the consumer may lose the right to cancel the contract and seek a refund. By submitting this application, you hereby consent to the University proceeding with the processing of your application and if you receive a decision from the University in respect of your application within those 14 days, you will lose your right to cancel and seek a refund as the application process has been fully performed by the University. Application fees are also refundable in cases where courses are cancelled before they commence.
Programme Fees
If you are offered and accept a place you will be required to pay fees. For specific information on the fees for your chosen course of study, please visit the fees section of the UCD Registry website. You can pay fees through our online payment facility during the registration process or alternatively you can order a Fee Payment form/bank giro within SIS while registering online. Please note that if you choose this method of payment, you need to allow five working days for the bank payment to show on your student fees account.
