Making AI Accessible in Healthcare

The UCD AI Healthcare Hub is an interdisciplinary accelerator for data-rich projects in collaboration with SAS Institute. The Hub aims to make Artificial Intelligence and Augmented Intelligence technologies accessible to all non-coding researchers to accelerate their projects and enable data-driven decisions to all. Impactful research programmes to date include AI_Premie, Covid Cocoon and AI_PredictMS. The Human Health Impact Technology (HHIT) series shares insights from global thought leaders in this highly innovative space.

Building partnerships and progress together

UCD and the National Institute for Bioprocessing Research and Training (NIBRT) have been strengthening ties, particularly with the signing of a formal partnership with Northeastern University which solidifies our three-way transatlantic collaboration, with a special focus on Biologics and Advanced Manufacturing. With the announcement of a new Cell and Gene Therapy medicines research centre at NIBRT's UCD-based facility and new funded collaborations already in the pipeline, the strengthened relationship is set to yield strong progress in the drug development space.
