WP 2: Co-design Workshops
The project programme has three main stages. First, we will run a co-design process via a series of focus groups with members of the research communities at partner institutions to identify the needs and priorities of the intended audience, preferred delivery method, and mechanisms for effective engagement on this topic. Second, we will develop a pilot training module and test it. Content and delivery will be determined based on co-design input. Where possible, existing media will be reused or adapted. Additional required materials will be developed by the project educational technologist. In the third stage we will conduct interviews with a selection of participants who tested the module for qualitative feedback. The module will be further refined and finally, we will produce an Open Education Resource for adaptation by research institutions across Ireland.
To sustain the project aims, a committee will be established with the national chapter of CoARA with responsibility for periodic review and updating of the training module.
