Study Tours
Study tours are arranged to venues within Ireland and also abroad.
Generally, tours take place over four days: we travel by luxury coach and stay in a comfortable hotel for three nights. Tour schedules vary, but will typically comprise visits to historical sites and locations of archaeological, architectural or engineering interest. We aim to visit places not generally open to the public. Good local guides are employed and the contribution covers the cost of accommodation, all meals, transport and entrance fees. Occasionally, shorter tours may be arranged over two days with one night's accommodation arranged.
Overseas trips will be arranged in conjunction with good travel companies. The tours will be tailored to the needs of Retired Staff Association members and will include guided walks, visits to museums, theatrical and operatic events and ‘must see’ locations.
