UCD Risk Management Process
UCD’s Risk Management process follows the ISO:31000 Risk Management Guidelines. A high level summary is outlined below.
The process is not a ‘one off’ exercise, but rather a continuous, cyclical practice that all staff are responsible for contributing to and integrating into their day-to-day decision making. It includes the following components.
- Determining Scope, Context & Criteria
- Risk Assessment
- Risk Identification
- Risk Analysis
- Risk Evaluation
- Communication & Recording
- Reporting & Monitoring
For specific detail on the process and how it works in practice, please refer to the Risk Management Handbook in Guidance and Templates.
