Ronan hadn't pursued formal academic third-level qualifications previously but had a huge amount of business experience. He wasn't sure what would be involved but decided to get in touch with the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate School of Business. He was asked to complete an application form to have his experiential learning assessed. He was accepted onto the programme and he hasn't looked back since.
