Undergraduate Pharmacology Prize-winners 2017

Congratulations to Justine O'Brien and Liam Pierce, winners of undergraduate medals in Pharmacology.
Justine was awarded the Lisa Dalton Medal in the first year of the award. The medal, in memory of Lisa, a senior technical officer in the School who contributed widely to the preparation and running of undergraduate pharmacology laboratory classes, will be awarded annually to the stage 3 Pharmacology student who has performed best in in the stage 2 practical modules. Juastine was presented with her medal by Lisa's husband, Conor.
Liam was the recipient of the Roddy Monks Medal, awarded annually to the stage 4 Pharmacology student who has topped the class in the practical components of the stage 3 pharmacology modules. The medal, in memory of Roddy, was presented to Liam by Roddy's widow, Trish.
