BSc Sustainability Awards Event - Fingal Farmers Group
In the academic year 2022/23, the Fingal Farmers Group will be partnering with the innovative new BSc Sustainability (DN240) at University College Dublin to fund awards for students.
Four awards of €500 each will be available to students based on the best essays submitted to the judging panel, dealing with topics affecting rural and agricultural communities. The awards will support Stage 1 students in their studies and contribute to the cost of an exchange visit to another university for Stage 3 students.
The partnership will aim to give BSc Sustainability students an insight into the agricultural communities in Ireland, along with the sustainability challenges that communities are currently facing.
The Fingal Farmers Group awards will be launched at Flavours of Fingal, Newbridge House on the 2 July by Professor Tasman Crowe, BSc Sustainability Programme Co-Director, Junior Minister, Martin Heydon, and a representative from Fingal Farmers Group.
