To celebrate World Book Day, the Spanish Department at SLCL, in collaboration with all Language Departments, invites students to take part in a special literary event.
We are now accepting original writing submissions and proposals for live readings and performances to be featured during the celebration.

Submit Your Proposal
A short story, poetry, a creative essay, a spoken word piece… or a mix of genres and forms, as long as your submission is two pages long.
The entry categories are:
- Category I: submissions exclusively or predominantly in Spanish, and/or Catalan or Aragonese.
- Category II: for submissions in any other language or languages. If in a language other than Spanish (English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, or Irish), we kindly ask you to provide a translation into English.

The winners of both categories will be revealed during our Día del Libro event on 23rd April, at the Student Village. They will also be invited to read their work at the event.
