Explaining Dance

Toni Jodar is a foundational figure in the emergence and consolidation of Catalan contemporary dance in the 1980s. The dancer explains the history of dance through the medium of dance itself using an educational
performance.

Audiences will be shown the evolution of the art form from classical through to contemporary as Jodar explains the different genres and forms that the body uses to express itself in movement. It shows the evolution of classic to contemporary, referring to the various genres found to express the body in motion.
