writeAUT Literature Competition 2018

Our finalists of the writeAUT Literature Competition 2018 had the pleasure to attend the award ceremony in the Austrian Cultural Forum London on the 20th of April. It was a sunny day filled with creative vibes, intellectual achievements and the joy of browsing through literature, film and music prizes, which were handed over to the finalists of German studies students from Ireland, Scotland and England. The first prize was a weekend trip to Vienna!

The topic of this years writeAUT Literature Competition was 2018 - Year of Remembrance: Revolution of 1848, First Austrian Republic 1918, Annexation 1938, Human Rights 1948, The '68 Movement. It was organized by Austrian Lecturers (ÖAD), who also held writing workshops with the participating students.
