The title of the thesis is «Ou Topos: The aim of her research is to posit the existence of a link between literature and successful enterprises through the stories of the great European entrepreneurs and their different utopias, starting from the fundamental work conducted by Italian entrepreneur Adriano Olivetti and his team of poets and writers. The research will also extend to the female presence in factories and women’s writing during the twentieth and twenty-first centuries, from Elsa Morante to Michela Murgia. Besides, fiction, both by female and male authors, offers different point of views upon the industrial and working reality in Europe, as happens in Italy with Pirandello, Ottiero Ottieri and Paolo Volponi.
