Fulbright Scholar’s Award 2021-22 awarded to Asst. Prof. Marie Moran
As a Fulbright Scholar (opens in a new window)Asst. Prof. Marie Moran will visit the University of Wisconsin-Madison for a period of three months in Spring 2022.
The award was given to enable Marie to (i) carry out research on social movement responses to inequality in an American context, for her forthcoming book, ‘Inequality in the 21st Century’ (Polity); (ii) work on the book’s theoretical framework under the mentorship of Professor Harry Brighouse of the Philosophy Department, and (iii) to build connections between the world-renowned Havens-Wright Centre for Social Justice the UCD Equality Studies Centre of which she is director.
The official awards ceremony took place in June 2021.
