About UCD College of Social Sciences and Law
UCD College of Social Sciences and Law is a leading centre for education and research in Ireland delivering a comprehensive range of internationally recognised, academically rigorous undergraduate and graduate degree programmes in key Social Science and Law disciplines.
The College has eleven academic Schools and associated Research Centres and Institutes, which encompass an extensive range of key Social Sciences and Law disciplines with over 5,000 students including 1,400 students on our graduate programmes. Undergraduate and Graduate degrees, including taught masters, research masters, doctorates and professional doctorates, are offered in the Schools of Archaeology, Economics, Education, Geography, Information & Communication Studies, Sutherland School of Law, Philosophy, Politics and International Relations, Psychology, Sociology and Social Justice, Social Policy and Social Work. Globally the College is ranked very highly in Social Sciences and Law disciplines and is among the top 50 universities in the world for Law and Library and Information Management and in the top 100 universities in the world for Archaeology, Philosophy, Politics and International Relations and Social Policy and administration.
