On Tuesday 05 December the Kevin Sinfield 7 in 7 in 7 Challenge arrived in UCD for Day 5 of the event, when Kevin Sinfield was joined by Charlie Bird and many others from the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association (IMNDA).
Sinfield’s 7 in 7 in 7 ultra marathon challenge aimed to raise funds for Motor Neurone Disease charities including the (opens in a new window)IMNDA.
The Extra Mile, which signifies the extra mile people can all go to help their friends in tough times, consisted of 3 laps of the UCD Athletics Track.
Thanks to all those who helped organise the event, especially those from (opens in a new window)UCD Rugby and UCD Sport Facilities.
It was also great to see our neighbours Leinster Rugby supporting the event.
Since 2020, Sinfield and his team have raised over £8 million (almost €9.2M) with three endurance events that have captured the public’s imagination having been inspired by Sinfield’s former Leeds Rhinos team mate Rob Burrow MBE.
