UCD Athletes had a fantastic weekend at the 123.ie National Senior Indoor Championships this year.
A new national and championship record was set by UCD Athletes in the 4x400m by Renee Crotty, Hollie Kilroe, Molly Hourihan and Ellie Harnett. Molly Hourihan also made the podium in the Women's 200m, taking home the bronze medal.
Sarah Healy set a new championship record in the semi-finals of the Women's 1500m, before breaking the record the next day to take home the title with a time of 4:08.74. In the Men's 1500m, Lughaigh Mallon brought home silver with a finishing time of 4:00.61.
David Bosche also took the second spot on the podium in the Men’s 400m, running an indoor PB of 47.54, while in the Men's 60m, Bori Akinola claimed his first National Senior Title, racing a new Personal Best time of 06.61 to win the gold.
