Sustainability

About this World Café

The UN Sustainable Development Goals lay out an agenda for targeted action across, environment, society, economy and governance to move us towards a more sustainable relationship with nature and a fairer society for all. Transitioning towards sustainability will require innovative solutions and transformative change.

UCD is already making substantial contributions through its research, innovation and education and is committed to operational sustainability. Through the new UCD Sustainability unit, we hope to more fully leverage our diverse community and infrastructure to further increase our impact on policy and practice and our influence in wider society. The insights gained through this World Café session will help us to shape UCD’s policy, strategy and action plan and strengthen our position as a thought and action leader for sustainability.
