UCD Student Centre is the ideal venue for your next event. Here at the Student Centre we have a versatile set up that allows us to host events varying from small meetings with as little as 5 people to conferences for 600 plus. Our facility consists of numerous meeting and reception rooms as well as a large multifunction hall all of which is nestled in a prime Dublin 4 location. We have experience hosting seminars, conferences, trade-shows, theatrical productions and much more. The Student Centre can also cater for examinations for up to 250 people.

Astra Hall
Astra Hall has tiered retractable seating. The full hall can seat 540 people or alternativley the hall can be divided into two sections to cater for groups of 180 or 360. The hall is ideally suited to host presentations, receptions, conferences, concerts and exhibitions. It is also regularly used as a location for large scale theatrical productions. The FitzGerald Debating Chamber
The FitzGerald Chamber is home to UCD's debating societies. The chamber has a seated capacity of 240 with standing room for an additional 100 people on the balcony. The chamber also has its own built in projector and sound facilities with excellent acoustic capabilities. This room is ideally suited to presentations, debates and lectures.

UCD Cinema
The Cinema is multi-faceted space that is equipped to screen 3D, HD Digital and 35mm films, as well as Blu-Ray, DVD and Laptop formats. With 88 seats the cinema provides a fantastic, accessible space suitable for film screenings, presentations, panel discussions and even lectures.

Seminar Rooms
There are two seminar rooms: the Red Room and the Blue Room. These rooms are perfectly suited for small to medium sized meetings, conferences and receptions. Both rooms have built in AV systems. The capacity of these seminar rooms would be approximately 50 seated theatre style, 30 boardroom style or 80 for a standing reception.

Meeting Rooms
There are four meeting rooms that can accommodate meetings ranging from 5-30 people. A number of these rooms have retractable walls allowing for greater flexibility in room layout and use.
These meeting rooms are ideally suited for small sized presentations or board meetings. AV systems are available for most rooms.

The Dramsoc Theatre
The theatre contains state of the art technical/production facilities and a backstage area comprising of high quality dressing rooms and a green room/office area. The theatre also has advanced projection and surround sound facilities, making it suitable for film screenings and presentations.
